2nd QuCUN Status Seminar 2024: Successful exchange of the German quantum computing community

The 2nd Status Seminar on Quantum Computing took place in Munich on November 18 and 19, 2024. The event's purpose was to facilitate exchange among quantum experts and foster synergies in quantum research. The seminar, held at the historic gas meter workshop in Munich, gathered over 100 participants from research, industry, and startups. It served as a platform for intensive exchange among project partners of BMBF funding programs, including "Application Network for Quantum Computing" and "Application-Oriented Quantum Informatics." Representatives from hardware and software manufacturers, as well as industrial users, presented their latest developments and discussed challenges. Networking breaks and poster sessions facilitated valuable discussions and new cooperation ideas. The positive feedback from participants underscores the seminar's role as a central networking platform for the German quantum computing community, contributing significantly to strengthening Germany's position in quantum computing.
